He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Muriel (Johnson) and Duane Marvin Amosson; and his stepfather Carroll Burras. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his daughters, Kim Amosson of Iowa City and Kelly Amosson (Bobby Brown) of Waverly; his siblings, Bette Schenck (Sandy) of Algona, Tom Amosson (Jeanne) of Cedar Rapids and Carol Sue Landin (Lynn) of Rochester; his granddaughters, Myanh and Venna; and his pet Bailey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jim's memory may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
