Joyce Stumme Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Stumme of Waverly, Iowa, who passed away on January 24, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Wilder and Rena Wilder (Leete); her husband Robert Stumme of Waverly; her son Craig; her siblings, Reid Wilder and Miriam Johnson (Glen); and her siblings-in-law, Herman, Mary Stumme, Richard Stumme (Elsie), Annie Stumme, Robert Freeman and Fritz Cripe.

She is survived by : her daughter Deborah (Ron Thomae) of Iowa City; her daughter-in-law Joy Stumme of Burlington Junction, Missouri; her grandchildren, Crystal Lender (Rob) of Omaha, Nicolette Comstock (Rob) of Clearmont, Holly Smith (Scott) of Honey Creek and Aaron Stumme of Omaha, Nebraska; and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Eva, Xavier, Jonah, Grady and Sawyer.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the First United Methodist Church in Iowa City.
