Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Linda for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Merton McLaughlin and Hazel Irene McLaughlin (James); and her stepdaughter Brenda Hewitt. She is survived by: her husband Roger Hirsch of Clarksville, Iowa; her children, Clinton Bigger (Jenny) of Stafford, Bradley Bigger (Denise) of Naples, Christine Schmadeke (Trent) of Clarksville and Carrie Trowbridge of Houston, Texas; her stepchildren, Tereasa Hovenga (Jerry) of Clarksville and Bud Hirsch of Clarksville; and her siblings, Ronald McLaughlin of Columbia, MO, Betty McLaughlin (Grace) of Australia and Robert McLaughlin of Houston, TX.. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home (218 2nd St SE, Waverly, IA 50677).
