She was predeceased by: her parents, Theresa Shufelt (Justin) and Leslie R Shufelt; her husband Jim; her son Randy Denner; her siblings, Kenneth Shufelt and Margaret Gardner (Russell); and her friend Jim McCarl.
She is survived by: her daughter Patty Denner of Waverly; her daughter-in-law Sue Denner of Eldridge, Iowa; her grandchildren, Erin Denner and Kayla Freeman (Tim); her great grandchildren, Cameron and George; her nieces, Barb, Linda, Becky and Carol Ann; her close friend Cherri Grimes; Brody and Becca.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church-Waverly (301 1st St NW, Waverly, IA 50677). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or to Lois' family for later designation.
