She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jacob Etter and Ida Mae Etter (Lange) of Ionia, Iowa.; her grandparents, John and Catherine Lange (Zwanziger); her former husband Virgil Sturm; her son David Waterman of Cedar Falls; and her sister Francis Nelson of Charles City.
She is survived by: her brother Dean Etter of Nashua, Iowa; and her children, Carol Johnson of Cerro Gordo, Illinois, Gary Waterman of Waverly and Steven Waterman of Titusville, Florida.. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
