We bid farewell to Richard Funk of Waverly, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 4, 2025 at the age of 87. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willian C. Funk and Bessie Mildred Funk (Scoville); his children, Sheryl Hanson and Tomas Wayne Funk; and his brothers, Jerry and Ronnie Funk.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Rae Larson (Hale) of Janesville; his children, Timothy Funk (Crystal) of Waterloo, Nancy Oberhauser (Mike) of Waterloo, Monte Funk (Rose) of Danville, Rick Larson of Waterloo, Nicky Trepp (Brian) of Sealy and Bryan Larson (Cheri) of Katy, Texas; Janice Covey of Tucson, Arizonia.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
