With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sarah E. Efflandt of Waverly, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2025 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Ayers; and her grandparents, Clarence, Carol Ayers (Thomas), Merrill and Dorothy O'Melia (Cloudas).
She is survived by: her mother Maryell Cox (O'Melia) of Waverly, IA; her husband Rev. David Efflandt of Waverly, IA; her children, Austin and Isabella Efflandt of Waverly, IA; and her siblings, Sharon Connors (Jim) and Thomas Ayers (Tonya). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorials may be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church and School in Waverly, IA, or to Cedar Valley Hospice.
