He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Luella Weisbrodt (Pries); and his siblings-in-law, Lillian Jensen, Ivadean, Richard Frey, Burton Thies and Robert.
He is survived by: his son Michael of Waverly; his sister Ellen Thies of Sumner; and his siblings-in-law, Maxine and Roger Renken (Doralene) of Aplington.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home (218 2nd St SE, Waverly, IA 50677). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (301 1st St NW, Waverly, IA 50677).
