It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dean Perry Arbogast of Wayland, Iowa, born in Washington, Iowa, who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Arbogast and Ada Arbogast (Turner); and his brothers, Howard, Richard and Edwin Arbogast.

He is survived by : his sisters, Elizabeth Troutman of Wayland, Mildred Wilson (Bill) of Ainsworth and Dorothy Jacob of Wellman; his sister-in-law Fonda Arbogast of Mt. Pleasant; and his brothers, Charles Arbogast (Ruth) of Washington, Johnie Arbogast of Washington and Stanley Arbogast (Shelly) of Washington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial fund has been established for Wayland Fire and Rescue.
