She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Mast and Thelma Mast (King); her husband Bob; and her son Douglas. She is survived by: her children, Joette Armbruster of Riverside, Michial Hartley (Debra) of Iowa City, Anthony Hartley (Dee) of Cedar Rapids and Ryan Hartley (Deborah) of Phoenix, Arizona; and her sisters, Iva Beliel of Wayland, Barbara Schumacher of Hubbard and Myrna Jo Mittler (Jim) of Washington, Iowa.. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peterseim Funeral Home (201 B Ave, Kalona, IA 52247). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
