He is survived by: his sons, Keith Carpenter of Manning, SC, Kevin Carpenter (Melanie) of Norwalk and Chris Carpenter (Brenda) of Clarion; and his grandchildren, Crystal, Jamie, Philip, David and Nick. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
