It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Elsden of Webster City, Iowa, who passed away on October 1, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Elsden to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion O'Connor and Elsie Mae O'Connor (Zeihan); and her sister Janet Springer. She is survived by: her husband Bill Elsden of Webster City; her children, Damon Elsden (Jenny) of Richardson, TX, Lori Foster of Webster City and Darin Elsden of Storm Lake; her grandchildren, Brody Foster (Sarah), Connor Foster, Savannah Elsden, Gabe Elsden, Haley Foster, Ariana Elsden and Carissa Elsden; and her siblings, Larry O'Connor (Maria Ferber) of Lafayette, CA, Susan Mangelsen (Mike) of Estes Park, CO, Karen Bettis (Gary) of Webster City, Kathryn O'Connor-Eubanks of Cape Coral, FL and Nancy Parker of Forsyth, MO. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (1000 Des Moines St, Webster City, IA 50595). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Van Diest Medical Center Foundation.
