She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter "Tim" Mulford and Juanita Mulford (Catlin); her husband Merle Edwin Hamilton; her mother-in-law Luany Hamilton; her children-in-law, Randy Schaa and Rita Hamilton; her sisters, Donna Summers and Dorothy Johnson; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Hamilton, William Hamilton, Larry Hamilton, Eddie Ellingson, Marlyn Olson, Audria Hamilton and Eileen Hamilton.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick Hamilton (Dorothy) of Hampstead, N. C., Kim Schaa of Webster City, Kathy Anderson (Tim) of Urbandale, Krisanne Jordan (John) of San Francisco, CA and Andrew Hamilton (Sophie Phillips) of Cedar Falls; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Ellingson of Iowa Falls, Elizabeth Olson of Iowa Falls, Arlene Hamilton of Des Moines and James Johnson of Riverside, CA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Asbury United Methodist Church (921 Des Moines St, Webster City, IA 50595). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
