He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Clifford and Ella M. Ludwig (Pipes); his granddaughter Heather Heemsbergen; his great grandchildren, Madison Toftee and Paityn Duvall; his brother Richard Ludwig; and his sister-in-law Nancy Ludwig.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; and his children, Clifford Jr. (Julie), Lorna Fjelland (Brad), Peggy Heemsbergen (Craig), Barbara Linn (Dana) and Karolee McBride. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; 3 nieces and a nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethlehem Cemetery in Floris, Iowa where Cliff will be laid to rest.
