Eleanor Schumaker Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eleanor Schumaker of Webster City, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Tolstrup and Maggie Tolstrup (Hunter); her daughter Christine Lou Schumaker; her brother Everett Tolstrup (Marybe); and her brother-in-law Gilbert Schumaker.
She is survived by: her husband Wilbur Elmo Schumaker; her children, Rita Schmidt (John) of Ocheyedan and Ronald Schumaker (Kim) of Jewell; her grandchildren, Leisa Isder (Jake), Kevin Schmidt (Danika), Ross Schumaker (Melissa) and Alex Schumaker (Shanti); and her siblings, Jerry Tolstrup of Webster City and Karen Ireson. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Asbury United Methodist Church (921 Des Moines St, Webster City, IA 50595). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Asbury United Methodist Church.
