He was predeceased by: his parents, Everand McDowell and Gladys McDowell (Gillespie); and his wife Faith. He is survived by: his son Shane McDowell (Bridgett) of Northville, MI; his granddaughter Katherine; and his brothers, Brad McDowell (Jane), Dud McDowell (Carol) and Stan McDowell (Sara).
