He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Pursley and Rose Pursley (Klaverkamp); and his siblings, Richard, Charles "Bud" Pursley and Arlene Hills.
He is survived by: his wife Katie; his children, Wendy Stocker (Joe), Trisha Carpenter (Dave) and Paul Pursley (Adina); his grandchildren, Jessica (Shay), Nate, Lucas, Megan (Kolton), Austin, Alisa, Josie and Melia; his great grandchildren, Bennett, Amelia and Emmett; and his brother David Pursley (Barbara).
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center (800 Willson Ave, Webster City, IA 50595). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (1000 Des Moines St, Webster City, IA 50595).
