Lance Messerly Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lance Messerly of Webster City, Iowa, who passed away on April 29, 2025 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Lance leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ora E, Agnes Lillian Hoy (Miller), Dale and Bernice Messerly (Minikis). He is survived by: his parents, Diana Messerly (Hoy) of Webster City, IA and Douglas Dale Messerly of Des Moines, IA; his sons, Hayden Douglas and Lucas William; his stepson Bryce Bertran (Ariel); his sisters, Dawn Lea Wesselman (Rick) of Centennial, CO and Lara Rae Dillon of Des Moines, IA; and his brother-in-law Bradford Paul Dillon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center (800 Willson Ave, Webster City, IA 50595).
