She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy D. Smith and Mary Helen Rea Smith; her brother Michael "Chubby" Smith; her parents-in-law, Frank and Vernice Tanner; and her sister-in-law Judy Tanner.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Tanner; her son Jordan Tanner (Madison Brincks) of Stratford; her brothers, Curt Smith (Sharon) of Webster City and Billy Todd Smith of Fort Dodge; her sister-in-law Lanette Smith of Webster City; her siblings' children, Jay Smith (Jenna), Jennifer Hay (Nate), Janae Carter (Nick), Cody Smith (Sam), Sierra Opperman (Wyatt), Jake Smith and Courtni Fredricksen; and also, Ron Tanner (Sharon), Barb Tanner, Bill Tanner (Cindy) and Chris Tanner (Stephanie).
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (1000 Des Moines St, Webster City, IA 50595). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center (800 Willson Ave, Webster City, IA 50595). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (1000 Des Moines St, Webster City, IA 50595). A burial was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery.
