With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marjorie Scott of Webster City, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2026 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Oscar and Fern Johnson (Dally); her husband Vern Scott; her son Danny Scott; her siblings, Vernie Johnson (Kathryn), Beulah Gordon (Kenneth) and Mavis Coleman (Myrll); and her brothers-in-law, Virgil Scott (Mary) and Raymond Scott (Pat).
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Arends (Randy) of Webster City, Tim Scott (Jill) of Kamrar and Kristen Klaver (Barry) of Kamrar; her grandchildren, Jeremy Arends (Monika), Heather Pittman (Adam), Ashley Soma (Jody), Barry Scott (Sarah), Blake Renaud (Alex), Jake Klaver (Alyssa), Shane Klaver and Trevor Klaver (Mallory); and her sister Shirley Chalfant (Roger) of Wenatchee, WA. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
