He was predeceased by: his parents, Melford Nicholson and Leta Nicholson (Miller); his son Bob Nicholson; his parents-in-law, Orville Jondal, Eleanorea and Paul Clouse; his siblings, Marilyn, Duane, Leslie and Eldon Nicholson; his siblings-in-law, Connie Walker, Fae Nicholson, Faye Nicholson, Gene Mosher and Randy Hilpipre; and his nephew Matthew Hilpipre.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jondal; his children, Michelle Haberman (Steve) of Clarion and Jason Nicholson of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Jake Haberman (Monica), Joel Haberman (Shanee) and Katie Merfeld (Isaac); his great grandchildren, Jones, Charlotte, Margo, Trace and Lennie Haberman; his sister Arlene Mosher; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Jondal (Pam) and Debra Hilpipre.
