He is survived by: his children, Michael Vasquez of Webster City and Michele Rickabaugh (Steve) of Webster City; his grandchildren, Jessica Paterson (Bret) and Anthony Vasquez of North Carolina; his great grandchildren, Tristan Tusing, Holden Jergens, Natalie, Tyzone and Harleigh (Mileena); his sisters, Becky McTurk of Oklahoma, Eloise Reyes of Waterloo, Lydia Jones (Larry) of Mason City, Irene Grover (Roger) of Dumont and Jen Virginia Vasquez (Joe) of Waterloo; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Jackson, David Jackson and Vicky Jackson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
