He was predeceased by: his son Terrence Joseph; his parents, Paul Tighe and Julia Tighe; his siblings, John, Louis, Paul, Mark, Robert Tighe, Mary, Patricia Dorcey and Ramona Kovensky; and his stepchildren, Christian, Tyler, Raymond Allen and Wynde Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Wyn Ann (Allen); his children, Merydith Thomas (John) of Camanche, IA, Paula Eddy (Richard) of Madison, WI, Constance Humble (Robert) of Estherville, IA, Richard Tighe (Leslie) of Knoxville, TN, James Tighe (Sherry) of Spencer, IA and Margaret Shonka (Marc) of Des Moines, IA; his stepson Don Allen (Paula) of Eldora; his stepdaughter-in-law Carol Allen of Clarion; and his sister-in-law Colleen of Homer, NE.. He is also survived by 40 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren.
