She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mylo Hyland and Margaret Hyland; her husband Doug; her children, Erin Johnson Klitgaard, Devin Johnson and Michael Johnson (Sun); her grandchildren, Cate, Ben, Maggie, Cece Klitgaard, Sofia and River Johnson; and her siblings, Steve, Tim, Dennis (Juli), Chris Hyland (Lisa), Nancy Reis, Maureen Carver (Gordon), Diane Jones (Steve) and Lisa Smallwood (Bruce).
