He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Pearl and Jeanette Freeman (Cathy); his siblings, Mary and Bud Freeman; and his sons-in-law, Paul Nebel, Alvin Krauss and Leo Overton.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth A. Nebel of Wellman, Iowa, Sherrye R. Freeman of Las Vegas, Nevada, Janet L. Krauss of Wellman, Iowa and Lewis T. Freeman Jr. (Marcia) of Florida. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
