He is survived by: his children, Gary Kaufman (Pamela) of Hiawatha, Iowa, Jeff Kaufman (Melissa) of Kalona, Iowa and Angie Truitt (Casey) of Kalona, Iowa; his grandchildren, Zach Kaufman (Autumn), Jake Kaufman (Ashley Espinosa), Sarah Kaufman, Alex Clark (Adam), Andrew Kaufman, Ariel Kaufman, Jarrett Truitt, Kaylee Truitt and Logan Truitt; and his brothers, Wayne Kaufman (Rebecca) of Washington, Iowa and Louis Kaufman (Liza) of Urbandale, Iowa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
