She was predeceased by : her parents, Leonard Eckenrod and Cleo Eckenrod. She is survived by : her sister Mary Lou Haacker (Bob) of Mountain Home, AR; her sister-in-law Mabel Eckenrod (Kenny) of Waterloo; and her siblings, Don (Pauline), Les (Fern), Bob (Fonda), Rich (Lorraine), Kenny, Jerry and Pat Schwartzkopf (Frances).

Memorials may be made to Essence of Life Hospice in Shirley's name so that others may receive the same care and comfort.
