He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Flaherty of Flaherty's Cafe and Marie Flaherty (Reno); his brother Dennis Flaherty; his daughter Michele Huff; his former wife Linda Flaherty; and his daughter-in-law Cathy Flaherty.
He is survived by: his son Michael Flaherty (John); his son-in-law Doug Huff; his grandchildren, Alyssa Gibson (Tyler), Mallarie Schafer (Joe), Collin Huff (Alyssa) and Brianna Flaherty (Chase); and his great grandchildren, Henry Schafer, Grace Schafer, Katherine Schafer, Wylie Schafer, Llewyn Gibson, Leonard Gibson, Cameron Huff and Wesley Huff.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Divine Mercy Parish ~ St. Joseph (405 S East St, Wesley, IA 50483). A Mass will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
