He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Frank" Richter and Mary Richter (Gray); and his siblings, Steve Richter and Georgene Garman. He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Richter (Tracy) of Lincoln, Jessica Brown (Brian) of Mason City, Joshua Richter (Kasondra) of Kanawha, Jacob Richter (Brittney) of Algona, Jenna Richter of Mason City and John Richter of Mason City; his siblings, Connie Smith (Walt) of Rock Hill, SC, Bill Richter (Cathie) of Whittemore, Phil Richter (Rhonda) of Malvern, Mark Richter (Tina) of Johnstown, OH, Jeff Richter (Janice) of Wesley and Jim Richter (Julie) of Corwith; his sister-in-law Scherry Richter; and his grandchildren, Elijah, Wyatt, Taylor, Leah, Thea, Kayden, Kyiah and Kaylee.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Oakcrest Funeral Services (305 W Main St, Wesley, IA 50483). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Divine Mercy Parish ~ St. Joseph (405 S East St, Wesley, IA 50483).
