He is survived by: his wife Ellen Theresa Hutchinson; his children, Vivian Streit of Algona, Michelle Streit of Adel, Anthony Streit (Diane) of West Bend, Myra Crawford (John) of Elberon, Joyce Lizzi (Chris) of Plymouth, MN, Sarah Jackson (John) of Oklahoma City, OK and Rebecca Abell (Justin) of Sigourney; his siblings, Rita Reinders (John) and Paul Streit (Marilyn); and his siblings-in-law, Tom Cahill (Kay), Wayne Hutchinson (Bernadeb), Rose Mead (Steve), Louise Kellner (Ed) and Agnes Hynes (Mike). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 3:45 PM to 4:00 PM at the Paul Catholic Church (206 1st Ave NW, West Bend, IA 50597). Visitation was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A prayer was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
