He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roger Irvin and Eva Irvin (Neider); his wife Janice Duttweiler of West Branch; his children, Jason Irvin (Christine) of Iowa City, Jared Irvin of Iowa City and Jamie Bevans (Joseph) of Atalissa; his grandchildren, Erik Jones, Coy Irvin, Logan Hatfield, Logan Brockert and Wyatt Brockert; his great grandchild Dean Brockert; his mother-in-law Karen Duttweiler; and his siblings, Kathy Murphy (George) and Bill Irvin (Trish).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service (2720 Muscatine Ave, Iowa City, IA 52240). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moose Lodge (3151 US-6, Iowa City, IA 52240).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Family of James Irvin.
