Scott Salemink Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on March 26, 2026, at the age of 63, Scott Salemink of West Branch, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lawrence, Geneva Salemink, Hale and Gertrude Hanft; his sister Jennifer Salemink; and his brother-in-law Tim Leggins.

He is survived by: his parents, Willard Salemink and Kathleen Salemink (Hanft) of West Liberty; his son Maxwell Edward of West Branch; his wife Joanne; his child Gabby of Coralville; his sisters, Lisa Musgrave (John) of Waterloo and Lori Leggins of West Liberty; and his nieces and nephews, Brock Leggins (Mindy) of Indianola, Bryce Leggins (Kristen) of West Liberty, Josh Musgrave of Waterloo, Katie Eaton (Alex) of Iowa City and Thomas Musgrave (Kelsie) of Waterloo. He is also survived by seven great-nieces and nephews; and many special cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to either Iowa City Hospice or Simpson Memorial Home to honor Scott's memory.
