It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Boysen of West Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry F. Boysen and Inez Childress Boysen; his brothers, Hubert, Leonard, Melvin, Jim and Joe; his son Donald Shuster; his grandson Shane West; his great grandchild Hunter O'Donnell; and his sister LaVurne Boysen.
He is survived by : his wife Margaret Virginia West; his children, DeeAnn Bokhoven (Scot) of New Sharon, IA, Larry West of Athens, IL and Joe O'Donnell (Marlene) of Burlington; his daughter-in-law Kathy West; his grandchildren, Trisha (Dan), Ryan (Shannon), Megan (Logan), Michael (Shonna), Dezmon (Candice), David (Sarah), Christine and Caleb; his great grandchildren, Kayla, Tyler, Lauryn, Elizabeth, Makayla, Miles, Micah, Layla, Nolan and Aiden; and his brother Don Boysen of West Plains, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice.
