He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Dakin and Virginia E. Dakin (Miller); his brothers, Lisle Dakin and John Dakin; and his granddaughters, Olive and Elsie.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Dakin; his daughters, Kathryn Bentz (Brandon) and Sarah Hansen (Matthew); his grandchildren, Serena, Jacob, Josie, Jenna, Ashton, Foster, Eden, Paisley, Charlie, Elie, Betsy, Willow, Salem, Della, Goldie, Jasper and Leo; and his sister-in-law Betty Dakin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be given to Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau Foundation and sent to the funeral home.
