She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse James and Essie James (Bendge); her husband Claude G. Bickel; her daughter Essie Reida; and her grandchildren, Jaquline Garrett and Carl Garrett.
She is survived by: her sons, James Bickel (Karen) of Burlington and Gene Bickel of Burlington. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
