He is survived by: his wife Sandie of Burlington; his siblings, Rachel Krouse (Don) of Effingham, IL and Keith Bickel of Marshalltown, IA; his children, Julie Smith (Craig) of Burlington, Amie Dunkin (Ron) of Burlington, Eric Bickel (Anna) of St. Louis, MO, Nathan Bickel (Valerie) of Milwaukee, WI and Tyler Bickel (Melinda) of Burlington; and his grandchildren, Adam Smith, Hannah Miller (Brett), Samantha Hertzler (Cameron), Josh Smith, Natalie Smith (David), Matt Dunkin (Donna), Lauren Bickel, Zoe Bickel, Edward Bickel and Kimberly Bickel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
