With solemn reverence, we commemorate Mary Gerst of West Burlington, Iowa, whose life came to an end on November 30, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos McClure and Mildred McClure (Fields); her husband Raymond; and her siblings, Ronald "Bill" McClure and Margaret Ann McClure.
She is survived by: her children, Becky McRee of Carrollton, TX, Vicki Parrott of West Burlington, IA and Bob Booth (Ron) of Iowa City, IA; her grandchildren, Jeremy Yaeger, Abby Burrus (Brandon), Kolton Booth (Kara), Landry Dorf (Chris), Klayton Booth (Lindsay) and Meg Kidd (Connor); her great grandchildren, Kay'Lynn Yaeger, Owen Whitaker, Emma Whitaker, Adessa Yaeger, Rhett Booth and Shepherd Dorf; and her siblings, Joan Messer, Richard McClure, Betty Burden, Phyllis "Pud" Scarff and John McClure (Julie). She is also survived by two step children and several step grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Prugh Funeral Service (3940 Division St, Burlington, IA 52601). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to either the Southeast Iowa Regional Home Health and Hospice House or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
