He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wisener and Clara Wisener (Fye). He is survived by: his wife Susan M. Ertz-Newsom; his children, Tina Cravens (Bill) of Dayton, Cynthia Newsom of Iowa, Brian Newsom (Laura) of Burlington and Crystal Neun (Paul) of Omaha, Nebraska; and his siblings, Cheryl Judd, Raymond Wisener (Donna), Edward Wisener and Linda Ashford (Mike). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in his memory for Voice of Martyrs for bibles or Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center Home Health and Hospice.
