He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Eugene and Myrna Marie Little Hope; his stepfather Jim Moore; his grandparents, Ralph, Gwendolyn Hope, Charles and Geneva Little; his great-nephew Dallon Morris; and his close friend Tom Brown.

He is survived by: his wife Sherry Blow; his sons, Clint Hope (Megan) of West Burlington and Spencer Hope (Katty) of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Carson, Callie, Corbin, Hayden, Myra, Lainey and Baby Hope; his sister Rhonda Shoafstall (Tom Switzer) of Liscomb, Iowa; his stepsister Sheryl Moore of Mt. Pleasant; his niece Brandi Morris; his nephew Brandon Richards; his stepsibling's children, Justin McDonald, Krista McAllister and Jamie Krogmeier; his great-niece Bailee Richards; and his great-nephew Dayton Morris. He is also survived by many cousins and beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established to be determined later.
