Alex Mead Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Alex Mead (West Des Moines, Iowa) is shared. Alex, born on June 12, 1994, passed away on August 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Alex will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Alex by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordy Mead and Julie Perkins; his grandparents, Rich Mead, Betty Schwab, Chuck Schwab, Paul McMahon and Virginia McMahon; and his cousin Jason Mead.

He is survived by: his sisters, Katie and Abbey Perkins; his nephews, Jerran Hummel, Jace Perkins and Jakob Hummel; and his aunt Angie Sailor. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
