It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Catherine Shaw (West Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Anne Catherine had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Anne Catherine may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her father Larry Shaw; and her sister Beth. She is survived by: her mother Judy Westphal; and her brother Dan Shaw (Meg Sislak) of Medina, OH. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Westown Parkway (3601 Westown Pkwy, West Des Moines, IA 50266).
Memorials can be made in Anne's name to the Des Moines ARL, ALS Association, or a charity of one's choice.
