He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Colacino and Janice Colacino (Olson) of Moines' South Side; and his sister Julia Colacino Mitchell. He is survived by: his children, Jana of Glastonbury, CT, Tina (Jay Kerner) of Westlake Village, CA, Nicholas (Joan Oh) of Singapore and Corie Shupe (Toby); his grandchildren, Elena, Evelyn Murphy of Glastonbury, CT, Max, Julia Shupe, Antonio, Luca and Ana Colacino of Singapore; his sister Nicholette Colacino of Des Moines, IA; and his brother-in-law Dennis Mitchell (Mitchell) of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by nephews, their wives, eleven great-nieces and great-nephews, and many cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1627 Grand Ave, West Des Moines, IA 50265).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Tony's name to the Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity.
