Barbara Jean Mein Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Mein of West Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Cline and Mildred Cline (Clark); her stepmother Florence Cline; her husband Paul Mein; and her daughter Penni Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Murphy, Mark Lage (Becky) of Des Moines, Kraig Lage of Des Moines, Kelli Barrett (Jim) and Bruce Anderson of Grimes; and her sister Shirley Fjelstad of Livingston, Montana. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
