It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carmelite Staker (West Des Moines, Iowa), born in Woodward, Iowa, who passed away on April 10, 2026, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Bice and Zilpha Bice; her husband William Keith Staker; her great grandchild Noah Kiley; her brothers, Harry and Lawrence Bice; and her sisters-in-law, Carolyn, Helen and Lorrene Bice.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy, Julie Kiley (John) and Jay Staker (Dea); her grandchildren, J. B. Kiley (Erika), Erin Kiley Rossow (Daniel), Jennifer Schill (Sam) and Megan Stagg (Josh); her great grandchildren, Brooke and Courtney Kiley; her grandchildren, Lucas, River, Audrey, Vivienne Rossow, Jack, Emelia, Benjamin Schill, Logan, Landon, Jonah and Kaelyn Stagg; and her brothers, Richard Bice and David Bice (Mary). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives.
In lieu of flowers and in honor of Carm, memorial contributions may be made to the family with the intention of giving to a scholarship to Bradshaw Mountain High School and the "No More Hungry Kids" Program in Prescott Valley, Arizona.
