She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Kleven and Norma Kleven (Jenison); her brother Roger; and her brother-in-law Du Wayne. She is survived by: her husband John Boland; her children, Randy (Leah) and Jodie (Matt); her grandchildren, Britney and Chase (Maddie); and her siblings, Loren (Irene) and Dolores.

She will be laid to rest at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. with a reception to follow at Hamilton's.
