It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Vrendenburg (West Des Moines, Iowa), born in Albia, Iowa, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Dwight Charles Vredenburg and Ruth Irene Taylor Vredenburg; and his nephew Colby Marc Vredenburg. He is survived by : his wife Janelle; his siblings, John (Linda) and Martha (Mike); his children, Emily Broderick (Mike), Brady Vredenburg (Andria), Cullen Vredenburg and John Vredenburg (Melissa); his pet Fletch; and his sons, Brandon Ray Vredenburg and Aaron Lance Vredenburg. He is also survived by nine loving grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Furry Friends Refuge or Food Bank of Iowa, both organizations Chuck cared passionately for.
