He was predeceased by : his parents, Demosthenes C and Pierrette S Choremi of Athens, Greece; and his siblings-in-law, Paul, Doris Smallwood of Decatur, IL and David P Smallwood of Tampa, FL..

He is survived by : his wife Susan; and his sister-in-law Patricia B Smallwood. He is also survived by 4 children and 14 grandchildren – as well as many special friends.
