He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Weis and Arthur Weis; his siblings, Darel and Claudia; and his son Lucas Alexander Weis.
He is survived by: his wife Kimberly; his sons, Christopher (Kelly), Miles (Cara) and Zachary (Danielle); his grandchildren, Carter, Arabelle, Liam, Taylor and Emilia; and his siblings, Dale (Judy), Dean (Debbie), Duane Weis, Donita Beatty and Darlene Virgl (John).
Visitation was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Westown Parkway (3601 Westown Pkwy, West Des Moines, IA 50266). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Johns Lutheran Church (600 6th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50309).
Memorial donations may be given to Unity Point at Home Hospice or Powell Chemical Dependency Center in loving memory of Dennis.
