Doris J. Tometich Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris J. Tometich of West Des Moines, Iowa, born in Albia, Iowa, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Tyrrel and Beth Tyrrel (Watts); her husband Tommy; her siblings, Burr Tyrrel, Glen Tyrrel and Lois Newcomb; her children-in-law, Terry Hogan and Becky Tometich; her granddaughter Sierra Tometich; her nephews, Paul Tyrrel and Greg Tyrrel; and her niece Janelle Hauf.

She is survived by : her children, Diane Zadow (Allan), Kathy Hogan (Jerry LaVine), John Tometich, Joe Tometich, Jim Tometich (Dee) and Jayne Hiller (George); her daughter-in-law Cindy Tometich; and her sister-in-law Ann Easley. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Croix Hospice, St. Francis of Assisi in West Des Moines, or Ss John & Paul Catholic Church in Altoona.
