He is survived by: his wife Dixie Jean Brant; his daughters, Susan Van Riessen (Mark) and Kristin Johnson (Scot); his grandchildren, Jennifer Van Bruggen (Shawn), Michael Van Riessen, Rachel O'Brien (Andrew) and Leah Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Dean Brant (Twila) and Donna Martin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
